Favourite Hadith

Undoubtedly a lot of lessons can be taken from Hadith of our beloved Prophet Muhammad S.A.W. but one that I always come around to when I see the ever-changing world is a Hadith regarding the ghuraba' or "stranger".


To illustrate the lessons that I've taken from this hadith, I have prepared a poster for it.

 

My contribution: As I said, the world is ever-changing and Islamic teachings are getting more and more neglected as time goes by because people are more focused in having fun and living carelessly. "You only live once!" They say. But Islam has taught us otherwise. Our lives in this world are temporary but we have the hereafter to look forward to. Therefore, Prophet Muhammad promised good tidings and rewards for those who keep this in mind and still stand firm with their faith regardless of what the rest of the world say. May Allah grant us the title as the ghuraba'.

Recitation of Surah Al-Baqarah: 30-37 The verses pertain to the creation of mankind, starting with Prophet Adam who was then taught knowledge by Allah. After he and Hawa were tempted by shaitan, they were casted out of Heaven and they repented. Humans are forgetful and sinful beings but what's important is we repent and try to better ourselves because we are Allah's best creation.
